When his father suggested he drive limos while figuring out his next steps, Tye’s entrepreneurial spirit was sparked. Soon after, Tye proposed starting their own business, and his father’s response? “You lead, I’ll follow.” Today, Tye jokes, “I get to tell my dad where to go every day—it’s awesome.”
In 1990, he founded Halifax Prestige Limo with his father’s guidance. The company started with one stretch limo and a dream. Today, it boasts a fleet of limousines, party buses, SUVs, and specialized services from airport transfers to wine tours.
Similar to Eastlink, family has always been central to Tye’s business. His dad not only helped get things started but inspired Tye’s dedication to providing high-quality service for life’s special moments. From weddings to birthdays, or simply a night out, Halifax Prestige Limo ensures every ride is filled with comfort and joy. “Being part of people’s lives during their happiest moments is what I love most,” says Tye.
