Bathurst, NB - Eastlink confirmed today that the company is on track to launch its mobile service in Bathurst, NB next month, part of its $26+M mobile network expansion efforts in northern New Brunswick. This follows the company’s most recent launch in Miramichi just a few months ago bringing greater coverage, and more choice and competition to mobile customers in the northern part of the province.
“We’re really pleased with how our expansion plans are progressing in New Brunswick,” said Jeff Gillham, CEO. “Our retail location is ready to open next month in the Bathurst Mall and our technical teams, along with local contractors, are putting the finishing touches on the installation of poles, antennae systems and supportive equipment.”

This latest expansion brings the company’s network sites in the province to 124 (and counting) further strengthening mobile service for Atlantic Canadians. Eastlink’s network build in northern New Brunswick will continue along the Acadian Peninsula throughout the remainder of this year and into 2024.
