When you need to reset the password for your Internet services and subscriptions, the process often involves sending you an email containing a temporary password or a link to a reset page. For this reason it is very important to protect your email account. If an unauthorized person can gain access to your mailbox, they may be able to reset the passwords for your other accounts.
If you have forgotten your Eastlink email password, you can reset it by clicking 'Don't remember your password?' and following the directions through Email Password Manager.

There are several easy steps that you can take to protect your inbox. The first step is to change your password to something difficult to guess. To guard against those who may be trying to access your mailbox, avoid easily guessable character combinations like "1234" for example.
For a strong password, use:
At least twelve characters
At least one lower case letter
At least one capital letter
At least one digit or one of the following characters !@#$%^&*_=+-/"'
For additional protection, it's also a good idea to avoid re-using your email password on other internet services.
Mailbox folders such as Inbox, Drafts, Junk, Sent, Trash and Spam will impact your overall email quota. Your email quota is displayed above your folder list on the left-hand side.
Note: Personal email folders you may have created on your own will also impact your email quota.
Click on the login button on the Eastlink Webmail page.
Enter your Eastlink email address and password in the fields provided
Delete any unwanted emails in each folder to reduce the email quota:
Checkmark the unwanted email(s)
Click on Delete
Once the emails are deleted you will need to empty the Trash Folder.
Right click on Trash folder then select Empty Trash
Trash items can be deleted automatically when logging out of Webmail.
Go into Options > Mail > General
Under Deleting Mail Messages Checkmark Empty the trash folder on logout
